Curatorial Assistant – Lidice Art Collection
Job Introduction
This is an excellent opportunity to join our curatorial and registrarial team in a junior, paid, part-time role. As a Curatorial Assistant (with collection research and ESR project support), you will help keep our programmes running smoothly through day-to-day administration and collection work.
In this hybrid role (up to 10 hours per week), you’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries, assist with scheduling and correspondence, support travel bookings and purchase requests, and handle basic financial processing. You’ll work with collection records and digitisation workflows (file naming and metadata checks), contribute to provenance and bibliographic research, and provide administrative support to the European Solidarity Residency (ESR) through monitoring and reporting.
The role is ideal for students or early-career applicants seeking to gain practical experience in a public memory institution and a unique collection of solidarity art. We are committed to equal opportunities and warmly encourage applications from candidates from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds. We are looking for someone fluent in Czech, hence the application is in the Czech language only. We recommend you apply as soon as possible.
NB: Please read the full Job Description (in Czech only) at the Lidice Memorial website.
