We invite you to the Day of Architecture 2024 event at the Lidice Memorial. Miloslav Vorlíček, Curator & Registrar - Lidice Art Collection, will guide you through the fascinating transformations of today's Lidice Gallery and the adjacent family house.
Both buildings were designed by the architect František Marek - the gallery as a cultural house in the so-called rural style and the family house as a dwelling for one of the surviving Lidice Women. Over the last 25 years, both buildings have undergone a series of transformations.
During the guided tour, Miloslav will take you not only into the bowels of these historic buildings but also into the exhibition spaces where the Lidice Memorial now presents both temporary and long-term exhibitions. These exhibitions reflect current and historical themes related to memory, solidarity, and generosity, which are an integral part of Lidice's legacy.
