Welcoming Miriam Kulmová

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Miriam Kulmová as the new Curatorial Assistant at the Lidice Art Collection – Lidice Memorial. Miriam joins us while she continues her commendable work at the National Gallery Prague, where she serves as an assistant registrar in the Collection of Old Masters. Miriam also supports early-career artists as a producer for the Pokoje, an esteemed annual exhibition celebrating emerging contemporary artists.

Miriam holds a Master's degree in Curatorial Studies from Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Her professional background is impressive, encompassing collection management, database administration, and the logistical coordination of international loans. She has also made significant contributions to notable institutional projects, including the permanent exhibition "1939–2021: The End of the Black-and-White Era" and the retrospective "Aleš Veselý: Alešville."

At the Lidice Art Collection, Miriam will focus on managing our international holdings and supporting our curatorial research endeavours. Her expertise in modern and contemporary art will be an invaluable asset as we strive to enhance our program, emphasising solidarity and collective memory.

We warmly welcome Miriam to our team!
